Sustainability: it’s a way of life
An environmental ethos has always been important to us. Since the beginning, we’ve been strongly committed to sustainability – and remain so to this day.
We’ve been involved since the early days of the move towards sustainable millworking – becoming one of the first millwork shops in Quebec to obtain Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation. Over the years we’ve developed considerable expertise in the field of sustainability, which we offer through our FSC-certified and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects.
We are consistently committed to products and materials that promote responsible management of the world’s forests. For this we’ve been awarded FSC certification.
Standing for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED is a Green Associate accreditation certifying that we’re actively leading and participating in the green building movement.
As a member of Architectural Woodwork Manufacturer’s Association of Canada, we can provide a GIS warranty to clients, which guarantees the architectural woodwork is completed to AWMAC’s standards.
Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
In recognition of the calibre and scale of our work, we’ve been granted authorisation by the AMF to work with public organisations.
Régie du bâtiment Québec (RBQ)
We’re fully licensed with the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ), the body responsible for the professional qualifications and integrity of contractors.
Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ)
We’re registered with the CCQ and comply with all their industry regulations with respect to labour relations, vocational training and workforce management.
