Exocet Chair

Drawing inspiration from nature and more precisely from a flying fish—hence the name “Exocet”—designer Stéphane Leathead created an aesthetically simple and practical chair.

Made up of 21 slats of Russian plywood pivoting around an anodized aluminum cylinder, each chair is numbered and unique from the rest. The chair is available in various veneer types and has thus far been produced in maple, walnut and cherry.

MMR had to put all their knowledge of wood to good use in order to render the development and manufacture of such a sculpturesque piece possible!
